* All Greek to me!

Every wedding is different from the next, and this one was certainly different than any other I have photographed- it was my first Greek wedding!! And it proved to be very similar to the movie (which the bride watched twice her wedding morning because she couldn't sleep!).

High school sweethearts Sheila and George were married Memorial Day weekend in Rindge, NH, at Hidden Hills, a beautifully landscaped banquet facility. It happened to be a very hot day for May in New England, but the outside ceremony was beautiful and rich with tradition.

The reception featured both a DJ ("for the American music") and a Greek band, who made the trip from Washington, DC. The dinner was divine (those rolls were heaven!) and the cake was truly the tallest one I have ever seen. I learned a lot from watching the various Greek dances, especially from the many relatives who made the trip to the States (and who didn't speak any English!). Even the Greek Mayor attended.

It truly was a treat, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you, Sheila and George! Best wishes in your new home!

"The pictures are absolutely amazing. I look at them at least 5 times a day! They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me want to go back and do it all over again. We truly can't thank you enough."
