The day started out foggy and dark. But literally 15 minutes before Brianna and Sam's morning seaside ceremony at Sebasco Harbor Resort (yup, I was there last week, too), the sun came out just in time!
I had a really fun time with Brianna and Sam, and enjoyed the challenge of taking different pictures than the wedding there the weekend before.
Their reception room was flooded in natural light- a dream! I didn't use my flash once!
A few snaps:
Brianna did not take a bad picture all day!
The groom waiting for his bride.
The ceremony scene.
Mr. and Mrs! (I love the way she's looking at her toes)
Guests enjoyed the sea breezes from the reception room's deck.
A clever way to serve fruit during cocktail hour!
A classic Maine blueberry wedding cake (I didn't try it, but it looked like it was lemon poppyseed! Yum!)!
A tender moment as Brianna danced with her father.
Thanks so much for having me, Brianna and Sam! And I can't wait to hear about your honeymoon to Thailand and Cambodia!
"Emilie - thank you so much for sending some pictures already -- they are so fabulous and I can't wait to see the rest -- I don't even know what to say! We had so much fun with you -- you are simply amazing and are so talented -- we feel so lucky to have had you photograph our wedding."
