coming up for air

Wow! I am finished! It's hard to believe I don't have another wedding to photograph until New Year's!

Between now and then I have plenty to keep me busy. You should see my To Do list (or maybe not). I have emails and phone calls to return, portrait sessions to schedule (holiday card season!) and albums to design (For those of you who are ready to begin the design process, I am eager to get started now! Thanks so much for your patience as I focused my attention on the busy fall wedding schedule).

I'm excited to have a little extra time to resume a more normal schedule of exercise and to catch up with neglected (that's such a sad word) friends and family (as always, thanks so much for your support!). My sister and her family are moving to Maine in a few weeks, and I'm thrilled to have them closer. And J and I will be traveling to visit his family during the holidays.

And quite frankly, I cannot wait for a deep tissue massage to rid my back of those knots from lugging around that heavy camera equipment!!

I'll keep you posted on it all, of course, and will surely share any studio news as my search continues, etc!

Many, many thanks to all of my '07 clients! I value your trust and friendship immensely. Each and every day I feel so lucky to be my own boss and be able to do what I love and it's definitely because of you all!

  1. Whoohoo party! ;) That is awesome about your sister. Get a massage and relax, we'll all wait for you ;)

  2. Thanks, Tina. Tag, you're next for moving to Maine!! :)

Congratulations on surviving another year, Em! Not that you don't have plenty to keep you busy over the next several months, clearly, but I hope you enjoy the change of pace!

I don't think you give yourself enough credit, if your photos weren't so amazing people wouldn't keep you so busy! --Amy M.
