I went to check my voicemail this morning on my cell phone and the keyboard wasn't working. I turned it off and back on again. Nothing. I took the battery out and powered it back up again. Nothing. I blew on it, pressed hard on it, knocked it a few times. Still nothing. Ugh. So I took it in to the AT&T store and they said what I was hoping not to hear- it was dead.
My warranty expired four months ago. I could buy the same model under the insurance program, but it would take a few days. Ack. The iPhone display caught my attention in the corner of my eye and I went over to just look. And, well, a few minutes later, that's what I ended up walking out of the store with.
I wanted to throw up the whole ride home for paying so much for a telephone. But, once I synced up my calendars and email, I knew it was an ok decision to benefit business correspondence. So now, assuming the battery is charged and it's by my side, you'll be able to reach me much better via email and phone when I am traveling.
The bad news? I lost all my stored contacts from the other phone. If you have a new phone number or address and don't think I have it, please send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your details. Many thanks!
And if you happen to be the person who left the voicemail this morning that I wasn't able to access, please call back! ;)
