blue birthday

As long as I can remember, it has always rained (or snowed!) on my birthday. Yesterday was no exception. Fortunately I had planned to take the day off from work weeks ago anyway, and scheduled an appointment with a personal shopper at Nordstrom's near Boston in the hunt for some island wear for the wedding week on St. John (17 days until we leave!). My mom and I had a fantastic day together shopping, and even managed to scoot into the city to have my rings cleaned at Tiffany. The day was filled with other blue box surprises for the wedding from sweet J: Tiffany's new passport cover (a passport is necessary for a day trip we're taking to the British Virgin Islands) and bag tag. I am definitely officially ready to travel in style now!

  3. Don't forget your passport! Remember when we went to Paris from London and you had to rush back to your apartment to get your passport? Oh, those were the days! Have a blast!

  4. Where are you going in the BVI? That is where I went on my honeymoon, it is so beautiful there. We stayed at Peter Island. I cannot wait to go back.
