Whitney kicked off the regular wedding season for emilie inc., with an intimate 40-person wedding in Kennebunk. Worth noting, this was Whitney's first-ever solo wedding for emilie inc! The church and reception were both small, dimly lit locations with a host of rules and limitations but she knocked my socks off! I'm so happy to have Whit on board, and look forward to the imagery she will produce in the upcoming months with us!

Clients Tina and Chris found emilie inc as they were planning their destination wedding and I enjoyed getting to know them with Whitney, learning about their watercooler flirting as they navigated the politics of inter-office dating years ago. They planned a sweet event for just close friends and family centered around Kennebunk and specifically Goose Rocks Beach where Chris and his family have long vacationed.

Now for a few of our favorite images from the day...

Tina's stunning gown.

Bridesmaid hair prep.

The beginning of the day started with showers (which fortunately cleared after the ceremony).

Such great emotion as Tina leaves for the church.

Sweet ceremony capture.

Simple flowers from Fleurant, a favorite.

Married!

Chris' Porsche made a cool getaway.

I wish I knew what these two teenagers were thinking during cocktail hour, but I have a feeling I already know. :)

Let Them Eat Cake's amazing seaside theme cake!

Some of the guests serenaded the happy couple. What fun!

I adore their happiness. They glow.

  2. I'm usually partial to fairly simple cakes, but I have to say I adore the one from this wedding.
