Elizabeth and Jason met at a networking event in Michigan after Jason has just moved there from DC. Ironically, Elizabeth was planning on attending grad school in DC, and Jason followed her there just 8 months later. They returned to Maine where Elizabeth grew up for their seaside nuptials with 75 close friends and family. It was a perfect setting for Whitney's second wedding (with a little help from J).

They were blessed with beautiful blue skies (a rarity for the coast of Maine in May!).

Bride Elizabeth.

Groom Jason.

The groomsmen capturing the ceremony site with an iPhone.

Elizabeth making her ceremony entrance (and an example of why hiring two photographers is a wonderful thing- Whit is at the front of the aisle, and J snagged this cool capture from the back).

I love this very happy guest during the receiving line.

Sweet reception detail.

Elizabeth used to sing in a garage band and actually, one of the band's members was her teacher in middle school! So it only made sense that she wow'ed their guests with a few numbers.

Party time!

A time-out from dancing for a quick bite of cake.

The Tony Boffa Band is as talented as they are entertaining.

  1. Elizabeth and Jason, hope all is well. You should keep up the singing and record a newlyweds' album! It was a pleasure to work with you and I had a blast photographing your lively wedding. Sending you my congratulations and best wishes from Maine to DC!

  2. We've taken our show on the road and started a band of our own! Jason is learning bass and I'm learning guitar. It's a fun way to spend more time together, and we've even recorded a song!
