Chrissy and John met at Penn State and live in Boston, but chose to marry in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee where John's family has summered his whole life. Typically when we cover weddings at Church Landing the preparations, ceremony and reception are all at the same location. Starting the day at John's family's home on the lake and then traveling to Laconia by trolley for a full mass before returning to Church Landing provided a variety of new locations and creative inspiration.
It always cracks me up when I walk in to see the ceiling fan is the spot chosen to display the bride's dress. Can you imagine if someone flipped the lightswitch by mistake and it turned on?!
Last minute touch-ups.
The primary wedding color was tangerine! Given our wedding colors were aqua and orange, all day long I loved capturing the hues that I so loved in our own wedding day. Christine and John's pup Henry is a total cutie and quite photogenic!

Meanwhile, across town, John and his boys were up to the usual pre-ceremony debauchery.
I know kids at weddings is sometimes a controversial topic. But Christine and John's wedding wouldn't have been the same without these two darlings. Just precious, and so proud.
Married!
Back in the trolley en route to their reception, it was all smiles...
... and beer in trophies? Um, yes. Apparently John really likes trophies, and purchased them for all of his groomsmen.
No matter how many weddings we shoot here, Church Landing is definitely one of my favorite spots.
Portraits on the grounds were made twice as nice with the presence of little Henry! Running about, I was so lucky to capture this sweet blissful moment between Mr and Mrs with their little pup, too!

The trophies were certainly a conversation piece during cocktail hour on the lawn.
Inside, the decor was bright and fresh.

Sweet emotion during Chrissy's dance with her dad.
