Ilo found emilie inc by way of my childhood friends Rachel and Bethany, both theatre pals of Ilo's. She and Mark were married in Ilo's home state during the height of New England's beautiful fall foliage. Incorporating their Jewish and Finnish Lutheran traditions, guests traveled from all over the globe to toast their happiness.

How they met:
Mark and Ilo met a little over two ago when they both worked at 10news, the ABC affiliate in San Diego. Because Ilo worked as Weather Producer and Mark worked as the National Sales Manager, there paths never crossed...or so Ilo thought. Mark had seen Ilo several times during work meetings and in the parking lot. For over a year they never officially met until the Fall of 2007 when Mark decided to invite Ilo to his Halloween party. She went and the rest is history.

A spectacular ceremony setting!

Notice anything a bit odd in this otherwise traditional moment?

Yup, that's it, their ring bearer was their gnome Eerki. I love weddings with personality!

Eerki has traveled to some pretty cool places (images courtesy Ilo and Mark).

Instead of place cards, each guest received a little gnome. :)

Congratulations, Ilo and Mark! We're so happy for you and enjoyed getting to know you through this planning process. Have fun in Vegas and this winter, Thailand!!

Awesome photos!! Whitney was a delight to work with and did an amazing job capturing all the great moments big and small. Ilo and I couldn’t be happier with these photos. Errki still talks about you every day Whitney and was really touched by the inclusion of his travel photos on the blog. You rocked it Whitney!
