Three months in the making, our redesigned website is live today! Keeping our signature color palette and overall aesthetic, the updated site better reflects current design trends without aborting the brand consistency our clients recognize and trust. We have moved my editorial and portrait work off the site, keeping emilieinc.com just weddings and also featuring the work of our associate photographers and multimedia videographer.
Many thanks to our graphic designer Christina for laboring over this project, conducting extensive research and creating the look of the site you see today after many collaborative revisions. I just love it. And, of course, thank you to liveBooks, the genius technology behind our virtual storefront. With a few clicks, we are able to upload new content and images, keeping our web presence fresh for our viewers within this impeccably designed framework. If you are a visual artist or anyone who wishes to better showcase your product online, you need not look any further than liveBooks.
And most importantly, thank you to all of you- our clients- for the opportunity to know you and to document your thoughtfully planned weddings and sweet relationships that keep us enamored with this job weekend after weekend. This site would be rather unsuccessful without your love.
Let me show you a few of my favorite new features!
The portfolio pages feature intuitive forward/back arrows for navigating the images, or there is a pop-up thumbnail view option in the lower right corner of the portfolio.
My, look how we've grown! We had such fun taking each other's headshots, and coming up with both pertinent and silly facts to include on our bio page. Thank you Joanne McDonough of Joya Beauty and Lena Hartford of Hair That Moves for making us look fabulous for our team portrait day (you, too, Dakota).
We have included a News page, not to be confused with current events posted on our blog, of quick tidbits that pertain to studio happenings including our upcoming workshop schedule and job openings.
With so many of our clients booking us from afar but marrying in New England, including video on our site has been a powerful tool to give a glimpse at the experience of working with us for those who we cannot meet in person before their big day. The page below showcases our multimedia product, with other pages including studio and client interviews.
Happy browsing! Let us know what you think!
