Alyssa and Nick, wedding weekend: photo booth

And last but not least, our very fun Maine Snapshot Studio photo booth pictures round out the coverage of Alyssa and Nick's wedding weekend. A fun alternative to the traditional photo booth, ours features a white seamless backdrop and captures high quality, high contrast images- perfect for framing and giving as gifts as opposed to the often-fuzzy print-out strips of a regular booth. It's always a hit at every event, and Alyssa and Nick's wedding reception was no exception. Check out some of the fun, artistic portraits taken that night.

To end this series of wedding weekend posts, and the planning process of Alyssa and Nick in general (sniff, sniff), I would love to share Alyssa's sweet feedback of working with emilie inc. She and Nick are total gems. Her sentiments and their friendship mean the world to me, and I know these two are bound for great things (hopefully settling in Maine one day, right guys?!). Love you and look forward to seeing you soon! Thanks SO MUCH for everything! You are the best!

I honestly cannot find the words to describe just how much I adore Emilie and the amazingly talented photographers of Emilie Inc. Working with them was the absolute best part of winning the Real Maine Wedding of the Year. After we got engaged, Nick and I felt that choosing the right photographer was the most critical part of the wedding planning process; we never dreamed we would have the opportunity to work with such an extraordinary person. Emilie began photographing us the day our Real Maine Wedding journey began when we were announced as the winning couple in Freeport; from the second I met her, I was drawn to her warmth and kindness. Nick and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Emilie photograph our entire wedding planning process, documenting every laugh and tear in a journey to the altar; this is an opportunity most couples never have and we are beyond grateful. Between the many planning stops and our big day in November, Emilie has become a very dear friend. Her photographs are absolutely extraordinary; a bride would be hard pressed to find a wedding photographer of her caliber. She captured every little moment and detail, really telling the story of Nick and me. I used to hate photos of myself, but these are different; I absolutely adore them and will treasure the memories forever. It is not only the excellence of Emilie’s work that sets her apart, but also what a beautiful person she is; I felt so close to Emilie and comfortable when she photographed us, something I had never experienced when we had pictures taken. In fact, during our engagement session at Colby College, I felt like we were just walking around with a friend who was taking pictures too.

We feel SO lucky to have had the entire Emilie Inc. team photograph our wedding. They are the most sweet and talented group of people you will ever meet. Nick and I, along with our friends and families, grew close to the whole team. We were sad to say good-bye at the end of the wedding! However, I have a feeling we will be seeing them all again soon as we are the first of our friends to get married, and many of them said they want Emilie Inc. to photograph their weddings someday!
