The off-season is the perfect time to keep you posted on all sorts of things, including what we're doing in the office now that there's a significant break from photographing weddings for a while.
Last week, as you know, we launched our redesigned website. It includes three times as many images as the previous site, including some fantastic featured weddings. The tartan plaid rustic wedding on my page is a favorite because of its originality (red plaid! bleachers! apple chuppa! horse barn reception! denim! the Berkshires!), and definitely the wedding that generates the most "tell me more about that one" comments when couples come to chat about their wedding and ask questions about others we have photographed (you're welcome to view the original wedding blog post here, listen to the couples' interview on theknot.com live here, and see their published feature in theknot.com Boston magazine here).
We recently completed three double-volume sets of custom parent albums from this wedding. After choosing their favorite images, the parents worked closely with our designer Alina to create these 10x10 heirloom albums to remember this amazing weekend, including the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. These Queensberry beauties are traditional matted books, each photo carefully hand-mounted into the page and secured with a liner and mat. I've included a few PDFs of some of our favorite layouts, including a fun page from the Maine Snapshot Studio. But you need to see and touch these masterpieces to truly appreciate the craftsmanship. Simply stunning. The father of the groom's response: The albums came in today for my son Michael’s wedding. They are spectacular! Thank you for putting so much time and effort into making them. It is most appreciated.
Been married a while and haven't done anything with your wedding images yet? You're not alone! This wedding was from 2010. Sometimes, a little time and distance from the wedding day is the perfect recipe to create a time-tested keepsake you'll be proud to pass down. We're happy to help you every step of the way. Don't hesitate to reach out!
