Chelsea and Anthony's Cape Elizabeth winter wedding

by

Chelsea and Anthony opted for a small ceremony on a Wednesday afternoon that included just Anthony's two (adorable) daughters, Savia and Nicola, their officiant, two musicians, and me!  The wedding was held in the living room of their house, which has expansive views of Casco Bay.  The whole family looked very dashing, and Chelsea told me that the girls' darling white dresses cost more than her own gown!

Minutes before the ceremony was to start, Chelsea was fixing the girls hair while Anthony anxiously waited for her.  The girls were given instructions on where to walk for the processional (right by the brown chair) and Chelsea followed them, beaming.  It was so special to be part of such an intimate ceremony with this sweet family.

We followed up with lots of family portraits, including some outside even though it was a bit chilly and some of the snow from a recent storm still lingered.  Everyone would come back inside for a few minutes to stand by the pellet stove before venturing out again to the deck.  The girls watched from the living room when it was just the bride and groom, Savia taking pictures with an iPhone and Nicola making funny faces.

As I packed up, the girls changed into their comfy clothes, and Anthony and Chelsea were getting ready to leave the next day for their honeymoon to South Africa.  Just your average Wednesday afternoon, right?

How they met, in their own words:
Chelsea and Anthony met while working at their current company, Cisco. Chelsea join the New England team and became fast friends with Anthony. The two of them have enjoyed the past few years traveling around the states, spending time with Savia and Nicola on Casino Beach, golfing and trying out new restaurants in the Old Port. They look forward to their honeymoon in South Africa and newlywed life in Maine.
