Falmouth Sea Grill wedding of Amy and Andrew

Amy and Andrew grew up mere miles from each other on Route 88... she in Falmouth, he in Yarmouth... yet didn't cross paths until one night in Boston. To see them together you would think they have known each other their entire lives. There's a cool calm about them that I just love.

I first met Amy two years ago when she was the maid of honor at Brett and Garrett's wedding (they are expecting their first in September! Congrats, you two!!), and was more than touched when Amy reached out to see our availability the week after Andrew popped the question last year.

The forecast spelled trouble for their wedding day, but after a foggy morning the sky cleared and offered a quintessential sunny summer Saturday for Amy and Andrew to celebrate with nearly 250 friends and family. The ceremony took place at a church in Andrew's hometown, the reception under a tent in Amy's. In between, guests were treated to a boat ride along the coast. Perfect!

Amy and her mom worked tirelessly to pull together this fete, each part of the day thoughtfully planned. It was no small feat to transform the boat yard into a suitable spot for the most massive Sperry Tent I have seen. Moving boats, hauling in crushed gravel and sod were just a few of the necessary chores to ready the space, the biggest event to be held on the grounds since their major renovation two years ago.

Amy, Andrew and your absolutely wonderful loving families: thank you so very much for having us. We have loved getting to know you all and look forward to staying in touch (and waving when you drive past our road!).
