July's featured chef at Flanagan's Table at the Barn at Flanagan Farm was Cara Stadler of Tao Yuan in Brunswick. I enjoyed seeing a different take on the dinner series, because Cara and her team served up family style dishes for everyone to pass around and share. She also came out between courses to chat with dinner guests about what delicious dish they were enjoying at the moment. These events offer such an intimate environment, I think diners really appreciate being able to talk with the chefs whereas they might not in a restaurant setting.
I am definitely putting Tao Yuan on my list of restaurants to try next time I'm in Brunswick!
