We spent afternoon playing with Thomas the Tank Engine, reading books, eating string cheese and drawing with crayons. While fairly mundane activities, it seemed to capture Emmett and his two-year-oldness perfectly. We did take a break to visit the outdoor terrace connected to their building where Emmett enjoyed racing his parents from one end to the other, though he was equally fascinated with the laundry room, ATM and elevator in the building. Perhaps the highlight of the afternoon, however, was when Mark adorned a party hat as a beak and jumped around the living room. It left Emmett in stitches.
It was wonderful to meet you, Sabrina, Mark and Emmett. Thank you for allowing me a peek into your lives!
