French's Point owner Jessika Brooks' family session in Portland

Rain threatened my family portrait session with Jessika Brooks-Brewer and family, but fortunately it held off, making way for a fun morning at the East End playground.  Jessika is Chief Executive Officer of French's Point, a beautiful venue overlooking Penobscot Bay in Stockton Springs where the emilie inc. crew often photographs weddings.  It was nice to see Jessika outside the wedding world and, instead, in her everyday world with her most special people - her husband Fred, 5-year old Bailey, three-and-a-half-year old Payton, and 20-month old Camden.  We bundled up for the chilly air.  The playground was still wet from the prior night's rain, but, of course, it didn't stop the kiddos from playing on it.  They tapped into their Halloween characters for photos -- Bailey was a princess, her poses and smiles pretty like a princess, and Payton was a pirate, so one-eyed-argh's were a plenty during the session.  Camden made me jump up and down to make him laugh -- those squat-jumps were my workout for the day!  Blanket and bouncy balls, a snuggly stuffed animal and swing-set underdogs, silly faces and seashell hunting on the beach -- a jam-packed session that was tons of fun and ended with me getting super big hugs from three of the sweetest little things!  Can't wait to meet the fourth in June :)
