pop-up cuddle booth for Mother's Day at Birth Roots in Portland

Goodness me, there was SO MUCH cuteness in the photo booth at Birth Roots tonight. Babies and their mamas, families, even a bun in the oven. Birth Roots, if you are not familiar, is a community-based education and support center during pregnancy and a baby's first year. I have countless friends who have been a part of their classes and groups and all report wonderful things.

Many thanks to founding director Leah Deragon for inviting us to participate in a fundraiser for the center after witnessing the success of our Valentine's Day pop-up photo booth on Commercial Street. Tonight we set up in the courtyard behind the Birth Roots building on State Street to coincide with First Friday Art Walk. Nearly 40 families attended, mingling inside until their name was called to come outside (what a day, eh!?) and step into the booth for a cuddle or two. Can you spy one of our emilie inc. wedding couples?
