gray and navy Flanagan Farm rustic wedding of Meaghan and Tobin

Meaghan and Tobin's wedding day felt like one of the first true days of summer, with temps in the '80's and bright sunshine.  It was a treat to just hop in my car for the quick trip to Flanagan Farm and be there in under ten minutes.  I had photographed several dinners there, for Flanagan's Table, but I was excited for my first wedding.

I walked into the barn as it was just getting its finishing touches and it looked stunning.  Long tables graced the space, filled with sumptuous flowers and milk glass.  The sweetheart table had two adorable chicken figurines, which spoke to me as caretaker of a new flock at our farm.

The ceremony was tucked away down a long boardwalk in a wooded area, and included a ceremonial planting of a blueberry plant that I thought was such a sweet, Maine take on the traditional pouring of sand.

Guests lingered on the patio for cocktail hour as we did family formals and some portraits, then were invited into the barn for a delicious dinner, courtesy of 111 Maine.  The toasts were definitely a highlight of the day, with one of Meaghan's bridesmaids revealing a trip they had taken to Thailand years before, unbeknownst to her mother.

Joe Farren did a fantastic job both performing live music and DJing, and this crowd danced late into the evening.  They even broke out some glow sticks towards the end of the night!

Meaghan and Tobin, I hope you had an amazing time on your honeymoon in Florence!

How they met, in Meaghan's words:

We actually met online. We were both working a ton, and it seemed like a good way to meet. We have been together a little over three years, and we merged our dogs and cats into a big family pretty quickly. Tobin proposed to me on my 29th birthday on a staycation in at the Regency hotel in Portland.
