St. Ann's baptism of Grace

I'm loving how often we get to see this beautiful family and document their lives! This weekend I had the honor of photographing the baptism of Kathryn and Christian's littlest one, Grace. The baptism took place at St. Ann's, a beautiful stone church on the water in Kennebunkport, and was performed by the same priest who baptized Kathryn and Christian's two oldest children and officiated their wedding ceremony. Grace was perfectly happy to be the center of attention for much of the service being transferred from one set of arms to the next. Her older siblings, Claire and James, were happy to be a part of it, too. The priest asked them to help pour the water for the baptism, a task which they eagerly took on.

Kathryn and Christian's closest friends and family flew in for this event, including Christian's parents from Seattle- my home town! After the service, the group made their way to the Kennebunk River Club (where Emilie photographed their rehearsal dinner a few years back) for visiting and brunch. There was a cake in honor of Grace, toasts for the adults and, of course, delicious Maine lobster rolls.

It was so good to see you again, Kathryn and Christian! You have such a beautiful family- I loved meeting more of the clan!
