French's Point destination wedding of Olivia and Brett

Two grooms named Brett Mitchell?!  What?!  I thought it was a typo, but no.  I photographed my second Brett Mitchell of the season (the first was at Spruce Point Inn and he married Sarah!) -- this Brett married Olivia.  After a proposal under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, they had a beautiful destination wedding in Stockton Springs, Maine.  The two traveled from Michigan, drove the Maine coast, and were hooked when they found French's Point.  Brett claimed he had a few excited butterflies, but his demeanor was calm and collected all day.  Olivia was similarly mellow and had the sweetest bridesmaids!  Olivia's sister Nancy was busy snapping photos all day, and even edited together a little slideshow on her iPad that she played for everyone right after the cake cutting.

The weather was beautiful, Captain Ken was the officiant, and Christina of French's Point did a wonderful job keeping everyone on schedule.  Christina helped Olivia, Brett, and I get to the beach for some photos later in the evening and she even gave Olivia her own sandals to wear, which were easier to navigate the rocky shoreline in than her white sparkly wedding heels!  I have to say though, the kiddos won the dance contest at the reception - all the toddlers had quite the moves!

Olivia and Brett, you two were all smiles when you were around each other.  So cute to see such a beaming couple, clearly happiest when in the presence of the other!  I know you've had a wonderful 8 years together already, and I wish you many more years of happiness in marriage.  And since I know you're University of Michigan fans….. GO BLUE!  :)
