Brookline, MA is a cool city next to Boston. It's been the home of Laura and Esteban for more than a decade, but each independent of the other. Several years ago, Laura's best friend married Esteban's brother and they were both in the wedding party. While they've known each other for years, their friendship took a different turn a couple years ago. In nutshell, when these two decided to marry, that's when I came into the picture. They chose Alden Castle, a beautiful venue in their "backyard" of Brookline, whose history and aesthetics caught Laura's art director eye. Now who doesn't love a good story?! I am honored to have documented and told Lauren and Esteban's wedding day story!
I didn't meet Laura until the wedding day and it was like we had known each other for years. She has such an easy personality and trusted me wholly, as did Esteban, to capture their wedding day story as I saw it unfold. That trust and freedom is common with the couples who I get to know, which is a treat for me as a visual storyteller and that artist in me. Laura and Esteban's wedding day had a classic, timeless feel to it. I worked hard to harness that and all the emotions that were felt throughout the day, so that they can feel those again ten, twenty, or more years into their future. Laura and Esteban have an apparent loving relationship, deeply rooted in a solid friendship -- what more could you ask for?! Some fun, fast-paced, fiery Colombian dancing, that's what! Check!
Laura and Esteban, I hope you had a blast in Greece for your honeymoon! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! Hope to rendezvous in Brookline with you two soon!
