St. Luke's Cathedral wedding of Colleen and Paul in Portland

by

Colleen and Paul were married at St Luke's Cathedral in Portland.  But before we get that far, let's back up to the swank Westin Harborview for prep.  Paul and his brothers dialed into sharp suits, while Colleen was helped into her stunner of a gown by her team of bridesmaids.  Both groups turned heads and received congratulations while making their way out through the hotel lobby.

From the modern to the classic, St. Luke's is nothing if not grand.  Under the high vaulted ceilings, Colleen and Paul exchanged vows as part of a lovely ceremony, and with a cheer from the guests, walked down back that aisle a married couple.

Rolling on to the third location of the day, we made our way over the bridge to Cape Elizabeth and the Party Barn.  As unique a spot as you could hope to find on the Cape, this antique barn is set on a stately stretch of rolling hills, with gorgeous appointments including a delightful tea garden complete with a pond and a little cottage.  The big surprise was the inside of this party barn.  Colonial on the outside, the inside is funky, eclectic, and loud with color.

Colleen and Paul's friends and families spread out though the barn and tea garden for a joyous cocktail hour, the venue clearly had the guests abuzz.  I love my job and much of the reason is the people.  By the end of the dance party later that evening, I felt like a part of the family.

Thank you Colleen and Paul!  Being a part of your wedding day was a privilege and a great time!
