Newport, Rhode Island wedding of Carolyn and Anthony

by

The Sunday that Carolyn and Anthony got married was beautiful, sunny, and had a bit of a chill in the air.  Their venue, the historic Ocean Cliff mansion, overlooks Narragansett Bay and the impressive Newport Bridge.

As Carolyn's father mentioned during his toast, this bride was definitely channeling Grace Kelly.  With an elegant updo and a beautiful dress with lace overlay, she looked stunning.  Anthony was no slouch either, and was the one who knew how to tie the bow ties and put on the cufflinks among his groomsman.

After a late afternoon ceremony, guests moved inside to the grand ballroom for dinner and toasting.  Anthony's brother, James, had everyone laughing as he lovingly teased the groom and Carolyn's father, Randy, had the room tearing up as he recounted some of his daughter's childhood.

As soon as the dancing started it didn't stop, and this crowd got down (with a little help from some Fireball cinnamon whiskey).  It may have been a Sunday night, but I don't think anyone was getting up early Monday morning!
